Gratings for Bulgarian cement factory

Italcementi Group is the largest cement producer in Bulgaria. The company entered the Bulgarian market in 1998. Reconstruction and modernisation of the cement plant in Devnya started in 2012 and finished in 2014. The total investment by the company in this project is approximately 160 million euro. This is one of the largest investments projects in Bulgaria. Staco Polska has supplied welded gratings for the object. Gratings this type can be found in multiple applications even in the toughest conditions. For this reason they are especially used on industrial objects.

The new Devnya plant, completed in late 2014, is fully operational since 2015. An annual production capacity of 1.7 million tons of cement will have many economic and environmental benefits e.g. increased production efficiency, significant reduction of dust, CO₂ emissions, water consumption  and utilisation of alternative fuels, such as RDF. The Devnya plant is the only company that manufactures white cement in Bulgaria.

Staco Polska supplied platform gratings for the new production line in the cement factory of Italcementi Group in Devnia. The project has been made by VITO 95. Staco Polska has produced 720 m² welded gratings with mesh 22x50 and bearing bar 30x3 mm.
